Patented anti-kickback shock absorber
Two torsion springs deliver steady, uniform pressure into the cut and absorb shock loads, effectively preventing the kickback that makes lesser grinders unpredictable in hardwood and buried rock.

Overview
A 24-inch carbide disc, an anti-kickback spring system and a slip-clutch driveline — engineered so a compact tractor can do contractor work.
The SG24 PRO inherits everything that made the SG24 a workhorse and adds two upgrades that matter on a real job site: a patented anti-kickback mechanical shock absorption system with two torsion springs that applies uniform pressure and stops the grinder from kicking back, and a "GO-STOP" visual guidance module that lets the operator read grinding deviation at a glance and adjust travel speed without guesswork.
A 24-inch (61 cm) solid steel cutter disc carries 34 sequentially arranged tungsten carbide teeth for fast, smooth cutting, and the precision-built frame grinds down to 6 inches below grade — enough to kill the main roots and prep the ground for patios, gardens or reseeding. It runs on 15–45 HP tractors at 540 RPM through the included 1-3/8" 6-spline PTO shaft with built-in slip clutch, and mounts to Category 1 three-point hitches and ASABE standard quick hitches so switching between grinder, mower and seeder takes minutes.
Ships free from U.S. warehouses (NC / NY / TX / CA). Est. 11–14 business days delivery, crated at 531 lb with the PTO shaft included. Adjust the driveline slip-clutch spring height to your tractor's PTO horsepower before the first cut — values are in the manual.

Built for the job
Two torsion springs deliver steady, uniform pressure into the cut and absorb shock loads, effectively preventing the kickback that makes lesser grinders unpredictable in hardwood and buried rock.
A humanized visual guidance module shows grinding deflection in real time, so you can hold a continuous travel speed instead of stalling and restarting — noticeably faster stump-to-stump.
A 24-inch (61 cm) solid steel disc, 0.787" thick, with 34 YG10C tungsten carbide tips in sequential arrangement and 42CrMo tip holders for hardness and wear resistance.
The included 1-3/8" 6-spline driveline has a built-in slip clutch that protects the gearbox and your tractor from overload shock when a tooth catches.
Legs hold the unit stable for storage and quick hitching, then adjust to the working position so you can take the cut a full 6 inches (15.24 cm) below ground level.
A holder on top keeps a saw secured on site for trimming uncut branches, so you don't break workflow walking back to the truck.

Running it behind a 35 hp compact. The torsion springs make a real difference — it settles into the cut instead of bucking. Took oak stumps down below grade without babying it.
I thought the GO-STOP module was marketing until I used it. You can see when you're pushing too fast and back off, which keeps the teeth sharp a lot longer.
531 lb in a wooden case is not a two-person lift, bring the loader. Set the slip clutch spring per the manual before you start. Docked a star for the thin quick-start sheet.
Swapping between the grinder and my finish mower is a couple of minutes on the ASABE hitch. For property maintenance that convenience adds up over a season.
Quoted $250 per stump locally. Had 14 to do. Paid for itself immediately and I still own the machine. Replaced two teeth after all that, everything else tight.
Cuts great and the chainsaw holder is genuinely handy. Bought the backup camera separately — reversing onto a stump blind is the only awkward part of the job.
Before you buy
The SG24Pro is built for 15–45 HP tractors with a 540 RPM rear PTO and a Category 1 three-point hitch (ASABE quick-hitch compatible). It performs best behind a tractor with an independent PTO, so travel speed and disc RPM can be controlled separately.
